五莲拆离断层带中石英韧性变形明显,在野外主要表现为条带状、拔丝状,显微镜下主要表现为多晶石英条带,发育亚颗粒旋转重结晶和膨凸重结晶,剪切带经历了中低温条件下的变形,变形温度为300~450℃。利用分形方法对石英颗粒边界的研究表明,发生动态重结晶的石英颗粒边界具有统计学意义上的自相似性和明显的分形特征,亚颗粒旋转重结晶石英颗粒分维数介于1. 260~1. 319之间,均值1. 276;膨凸重结晶石英颗粒的分维数为1. 217~1. 297,均值为1. 256;根据石英粒径估算出亚颗粒旋转重结晶和膨凸重结晶作用变形阶段的古差异应力,分别为7. 84~21. 58MPa和18. 51~56. 65 MPa;基于分维值计算的应变速率计算公式,获得亚颗粒旋转与膨凸重结晶石英颗粒的应变速率分别为10-8. 4~10-7. 7s-1、10-10. 5~10-9. 7s-1;基于石英流变率计算,亚颗粒旋转重结晶的石英应变速率介于10-12. 88~10-11. 73s-1之间,膨凸重结晶的为10-13. 72~10-12. 46s-1。本地区韧性变形的应变速率大于一般性韧性剪切带应变速率,可能与拆离断层带的快速拆离伸展作用有关。  相似文献

Field, petrographic and microprobe investigations of metaclastic rocks, calcareous schists, marbles, chloritic calcareous meta-volcanic units and schists/paragneisses which crop out along the eastern portion of the Central East-West Cross Island Highway in Taiwan demonstrate that metamorphic intensity gradually increases eastward. The lower greenschist facies Slate Formation on the W contains completely recrystallized, pure albitic plagioclase, but at least some of the white micas (± chlorites) probably represent relict detrital flakes. Neo-blastic biotite and epidote occur sporadically in the Pihou(?) Formation, and increase dramatically eastward; concomitantly the abundance of carbonaceous matter decreases to zero in the eastern Tailuko zone, and the amount of chlorite + white mica diminishes somewhat. Epidote becomes more aluminous at higher metamorphic grade. Eastward, phengites change progressively to more muscovitic compositions as the proportion of biotite increases. A close approach to chemical equilibrium for the pre-Cenozoic, complexly deformed metamorphic basement assemblages is suggested by regular, systematic, major and minor element partitioning between analysed coexisting phases. Fractionation is less pronounced on the E, reflecting higher temperatures. Estimated physical conditions of recrystallization with αH2O and αCO2 moderate, are: T > 325 ± 75°C, P > 3 kbar (W); T > 425 ± 75°C, P > 4kbar(E). The gradual eastward increase in metamorphic intensity from the Slate Formation through the Pihou(?) Formation and the three Tailuko zones, as well as the relict precursor textures in the pre-Cenozoic layered basement rocks indicate that the observed paragenetic sequence could represent a synchronous Neogene recrystallization event, probably accompanying the Plio-Pleistocene collision of the Asiatic continental margin and the Luzon (Coastal Range) andesitic arc.  相似文献

陕西八卦庙金矿产于凤太矿田北部,含矿地层为上泥盆统星红铺组下段中上部。赋矿围岩中含有较多的钠长石。钠长石呈层状顺层产出,镜下观察为砂屑状、次棱角状,与石英及铁白云石呈镶嵌粒状关系,而无交代结构;钠长石成分计算其形成温度超过800℃和400℃,表明其形成与喷流作用有关,并受到后期变质改造;锯钠长石X射线衍射分析,其有序度为0.38,形成温度为620-667℃,说明它不是一般意义上的热水沉积岩产物。上述研究表明:八卦庙金矿中的钠长石是火山喷发沉积-变质重结晶的产物,火山沉积作用参与该地区成矿是形成巨型金矿的最有利条件。含钠长石硅质岩、千枚岩、灰岩组合是找矿评价的重要标志。  相似文献

蠕英石常见于中酸性侵入岩和片麻岩中。蠕英石石英含量与蠕英石斜长石An值或岩石中Ca含量呈正比关系。条纹钠长石、甚至钾长石的残余体出现在蠕英石中,说明蠕英石是含钙的销质气液对钾长石发生交代作用的产物。尽管有多种形态和产状的蠕英石,其成因却都是相同的。岩石受变动后形成的蠕英石应晚于未变动时形成的蠕英石。  相似文献

Abstract The microstructure of quartz in metacherts of the Ryoke metamorphic belt in central Japan develops from polygonal, through duplex to irregular with increasing metamorphic grade. The polygonal microstructure is composed of small (mostly 90–160 μm), equant, equigranular, polygonal quartz grains, whereas the irregular microstructure is characterized by large (>300 μm) grains with irregular grain boundaries. The duplex microstructure is a mixture of small polygonal and large irregular grains. The development of these microstructures is interpreted as being due to secondary recrystallization. The size of polygonal grains is greatly influenced by the presence of second-phase minerals, such as mica, whereas that of large irregular grains is unaffected by second-phase minerals. There seems to be a critical grain size for quartz to occur as polygonal aggregates: no polygonal aggregates occur in rocks with larger than the critical grain size. The size (about 140 μm) decreases slightly with increasing volume fraction of mica. The mean grain sizes of polygonal quartz ( D ) and coexisting mica ( d ) in the duplex microstructure are systematically related to the volume fraction of mica ( f ) by D = 0.728 d (1/ f )0.629.  相似文献

The mechanisms responsible for high-temperature olivine deformation are investigated at a pressure of 8 GPa and temperatures up to 1780 K. San Carlos olivine specimens of different average grain sizes (0.5 and 5 μm) were deformed simultaneously between hard-alumina pistons during relaxation experiments. These experiments are carried out in a multi-anvil high-pressure apparatus coupled with synchrotron X-ray radiation. The different grain-size specimens experienced identical P-T-stress condition at any given time. A new method for measuring strains and strain rates (≥10−6 s−1) of specimens at high pressure is documented. This method uses time-resolved in situ X-ray imaging and an image-analysis computation. The microstructures of run products, recovered after being quenched at different temperatures were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). We find that high-temperature olivine flow is grain-size insensitive at 8 GPa, which suggests that dislocation creep dominates olivine deformation at high pressure. This result is confirmed by the TEM investigation of our deformed specimens in which we find evidences of the activation of olivine dislocation slip systems. Specimen microstructures are consistent with dynamic recrystallization as an assisting process in olivine deformation during the high-pressure experiments. Extrapolation of our results to the low stress level and large grain size expected in the mantle suggests that dislocation creep assisted by dynamic recrystallization may also dominate natural olivine deformation in the upper mantle.  相似文献

It is often observed that dynamic recrystallization results in a recrystallized grain size distribution with a mean grain size that is inversely related to the flow stress. However, it is still open to discussion if theoretical models that underpin recrystallized grain size–stress relations offer a satisfactorily microphysical basis. The temperature dependence of recrystallized grain size, predicted by most of these models, is rarely observed, possibly because it is usually not systematically investigated. In this study, samples of wet halite containing >10 ppm water (by weight) were deformed in axial compression at 50 MPa confining pressure. The evolution of the recrystallized grain size distribution with strain was investigated using experiments achieving natural strains of 0.07, 0.12 and 0.25 at a strain rate of 5×10−7 s−1 and a temperature of 125 °C. The stress and temperature dependence of recrystallized grain size was systematically investigated using experiments achieving fixed strains of 0.29–0.46 (and one to a strain of 0.68) at constant strain rates of 5×10−7–1×10−4 s−1 and temperatures of 75–240 °C, yielding stresses of 7–22 MPa. The microstructures and full grain size distributions of all samples were analyzed. The results showed that deformation occurred by a combination of dislocation creep and solution-precipitation creep. Dynamic recrystallization occurred in all samples and was dominated by fluid assisted grain boundary migration. During deformation, grain boundary migration results in a competition between grain growth due to the removal of grains with high internal strain energy and grain size reduction due to grain dissection (i.e. moving boundaries that crosscut or consume parts of neighbouring grains). At steady state, grain growth and grain size reduction processes balance, yielding constant flow stress and recrystallized grain size that is inversely related to stress and temperature. Evaluation of the recrystallized grain size data against the different models for the development of mean steady state recrystallized grain size revealed that the data are best described by a model based on the hypothesis that recrystallized grain size organizes itself in the boundary between the (grain size sensitive) solution-precipitation and (grain size insensitive) dislocation creep fields. Application of a piezometer, calibrated using the recrystallized grain size data, to natural halite rock revealed that paleostresses can vary significantly with temperature (up to a factor of 2.5 for T=50–200 °C) and that the existing temperature independent recrystallized grain size–stress piezometer may significantly underestimate flow stresses in natural halite rock.  相似文献

钠长石的变形机制受其架状结构中Al、Si有序程度控制。在800℃时,实验变形的多晶钠长石呈半脆性;在1020℃时,试样呈韧性。机械双晶和重结晶作用仅出现在高温钠长石之中,表明位错的活动性和晶界的迁移速度随结构的无序程度提高而增加。绝大多数的机械双晶是钠长石律双晶,这可通过滑移双晶的位错成因模式予以解释。机械双晶、位错滑移和重结晶作用是钠长石塑性变形的主要机制,它们之间具有密切的相互联系。  相似文献

鲁东南莒南地区深层次构造岩可分为两个变形相。(1)在钾长石变形相中,石英、钾长石、黑云母皆发生强烈的塑性变形;当斜长石不发生变质反应时具脆性变形,当发生变质反应时具塑性变形,随变质反应的增强塑性变形增强。(2)在斜长石变形相中,除石英、钾长石、黑云母外,斜长石也发生强烈的塑性变形。普通角闪石表现为脆性及脆韧性变形。根据构造岩中主要矿物的变形特征和同构造新晶推测二者变形时的温压条件分别为450℃~500℃,0.82~0.97GPa和500℃~650℃,0.76~1.17GPa。  相似文献

The relative nucleus density (RND) model of dynamically recrystallized grain size [Sakai, T., Jonas, J.J. 1984. Dynamic recrystallization: mechanical and microctructutal consideration. Acta metallurgica, 32, 198–209] was applied to experimentally and to naturally deformed marbles that have undergone dynamic recrystallization. The model shows that a relationship between initial grain size (D0) and stable dynamically recrystallized grain size (DS) for a given value of temperature-corrected strain-rate (Z) controls grain size evolution during dynamic recrystallization. New microstructural mechanism maps (MM-maps) for experimentally and naturally deformed marbles (based on previously published data) were defined in log grain size–log Z space and show two distinct regions of grain reduction and grain coarsening. The boundary between these two regions corresponds to an equation relating dynamically recrystallized grain size and temperature corrected strain rate, as proposed in this work. The new MM-map was used to trace semi-quantitatively microstructural and grain size evolution in naturally deformed marbles that underwent dynamic recrystallization at different thermal conditions. The boundary between grain coarsening and grain reduction does not necessarily coincide with the boundary between rotation and migration recrystallization mechanisms. Assessment of available natural data shows that the boundary condition D0 = 2DS between grain-coarsening and grain-reduction introduced by Sakai and Jonas [Sakai, T., Jonas, J.J. 1984. Dynamic recrystallization: mechanical and microctructutal consideration. Acta metallurgica, 32, 198–209] is not required for naturally deformed marble.  相似文献
